Leaving family & friends in London

You may wonder why we have left such a great set up in London. Lovely school and nursery for the kids, great friends, family living close by and happy in our jobs. I do too to a certain extent but when we visited our London friends Andy, Vonny and their two kids who had sold up and bought property and quite a lot of land in Central Portugal back in 2008, we couldn't get it out of our heads. It is so extremely different and our creative juices started to flow. We have talked about living in a place like this for many years and this seemed the perfect opportunity to give it a try. We miss everyone already but hold onto memories and remind them they can visit anytime.
